Year One Progress Toward Delivering on the Promise of Public Health for All
We launched our five-year strategic plan in September 2023 to provide a roadmap that will help us address complex public health challenges and make the world a healthier, more equitable place for all. Since then, we have made significant progress toward achieving our objectives for each goal.
- By reimagining faculty support, fostering collaboration, and committing to equity, we have enhanced research that advances public health science.
- Our focus on strengthening our practice partnerships has led to new appointments, collaborations, and centers.
- We have also expanded our educational offerings with new degree and non-degree programs to help bolster the public health workforce.
- As we implement programming that makes our people—whether faculty, staff, or students—feel respected and valued,
- We have centered diversity, equity, and inclusion in our curriculum, research, policies, and programming in innovative ways.
- And, through strengthening our communications team and activities, we are working to promote trust in public health.
On each goal’s year one progress report page, you will find specific information about our accomplishments and priorities for each objective. Moving forward, this site will be updated twice each year. Thank you for your commitment to our Rollins School of Public Health five-year strategic plan goals.
